There is a huge sincere interest in the researching in Russia of the Japanese culture, Japanese language, martial arts, literature of Japan, economy and new telecommunication technologies and etc. That's why so many organizations were established in Russia for the researching of Japan and in particular there are about twenty organizations that are researching Japan in Moscow.

I didn't want to duplicate the work of some already working Japanese Centers in Moscow. However there wasn't some Research Center for studying of Japanese legislation or development of the Information society in Japan and I decided to fill the gap in the researching of Japan on that side and to create in Moscow the Japanese Law and Information Society Research Center:another Center. There are the main goals of this for this Center:

• Creation of the electronic library of some translated laws of Japan on Russian;
• Translation of the Laws and other legal documents;
• Creation of the list of bibliography concerning the researching of Law of Japan;
• Creation of the list of the articled concerning of Japanese legislation.
• Researching of Japanese Journalism;
• Researching of Legal Regulations of Mass Media and Japan;
• Researching of new tendencies of development of information society in Japan;
• Studying of the newest telecommunications technologies for mass media in Japan;
• Carrying out of seminars and conferences concerning on legal issues and new tendencies of development of an information society of Japan
• Cooperation with the Russian research Japanese centers;
• Cooperation with the Japanese and others Universities and Centers which are also specializing on researching of Japanese Law, Mass Media and Information Society in Japan.

I divided my site into the main parts, which will be fill gradually by materials:

1. Present Legislation of Japan: Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Commercial Law and Criminal Law.
2. Information Society in Japan: Legal Regulation of Mass Media in Japan/Freedom of Information in Japan/Regulation of Telecommunications/Copyright Law of Japan/Statistics and Articles.
3. History of Japanese Law: Ancient Ages, Medieval Ages, Meiji Japan, Japan after the Meiji.
4. Bibliography.

I hope that working of Center will help in studying of legislation/Legal system of Japan of the present days and also of history of Japanese Law. I will be very glad if my site will help and will be useful for everyone who is interesting in researching of Japanese Law as me.
